Seaside Makuhari Switch2 Experience Event – April 27th
The new console is a delight to use.
Its screen is significantly larger, offering an immersive experience that’s hard to resist.

The Pro controller truly stands out—it has an exceptional texture and feels incredibly comfortable in your hands. I can’t wait to grab one when the limited editions become available later!

**Mario Kart (TV Version vs Console Version)**
Our guide during the event was absolutely fantastic—haha, he had my back the entire time and knew exactly how to give compliments. Even when I simply used an item, he showered me with praise, making me feel like a superstar. During the console version of Mario Kart, something magical happened in the final lap.

With the help of an item, I transformed into a fearless racer, charging ahead without hesitation. I climbed from 23rd place all the way up to 10th! The guide couldn’t stop praising me—he even called over Teacher Sha to join in on the celebration. Haha, what a moment!

**DK (TV Version)**
This was my first time diving into the DK series, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s packed with fun gameplay elements that feel strikingly similar to Mario, making it a joy to explore.

At one point, our guide asked if I’d been selected for a particular feature. When I admitted I hadn’t, he shared that none of the players who tried today were chosen either. “It’s tough to get selected,” I replied, “but honestly, it’s kind of comforting knowing I’m not alone.” Haha, we both laughed at the shared sentiment.

**Double Shadow Wonder (Experience Version)**
I’ve already completed this game on Steam, where our powerful PCs delivered stunning visuals and buttery-smooth gameplay. Some effects were so impressive they almost made me dizzy while driving, flying, boating, or skateboarding. Unfortunately, the Switch2 just can’t match that level of performance. The frame drops left me slightly disoriented, and the graphics seemed more like 360p (though Teacher Sha thinks it might be closer to 720p).

Even so, I know I’ll keep trying. My goal? To break out of the unselected group alongside Yuichi Nakamura as soon as possible!
