2️⃣ The Z5 II completely blew me away with its revolutionary low-light autofocus capabilities. Unlike its predecessor that immediately switched to low-light mode in dim conditions, this new beast maintained razor-sharp face detection even in challenging lighting. The burst mode underwent a dramatic transformation too – leaping from a modest 4.
5 fps to an impressive 11 fps in Raw, finally ditching its “burst mode underdog” status. The game-changing flip-out screen had me most excited about the physical upgrades. Image stabilization reached new heights too – with both electronic and in-body stabilization activated, my footage looked gimbal-smooth (albeit with noticeable cropping).
During portrait sessions, I fell in love with the Portrait Impression Balance feature. While available on other models like the Z6 III, I’d never fully appreciated its magic until now. It worked wonders for skin tones in JPGs, and when combined with YunChuang Color’s precision and some subtle editing, created the stunning results you see here.
