I genuinely don’t get the online hate for the RF—I’m absolutely loving it!
Just unboxed mine on launch day yesterday, though I haven’t had much shooting time yet (thanks to the missing Fuji battery and a three-hour charging marathon 😂).
Today, I decided to take it for a test run while running errands…
As my first Fuji camera, I’m still getting familiar with it, but it’s already everything I hoped for.
I wanted a powerful yet portable companion—something I’d never hesitate to grab on the go. While specs like pixel count or aperture matter, what truly won me over was the medium format’s stunning dynamic range. Now I can shoot freely, knowing even underexposed shots will retain every detail in post.
Let’s be real—at this price, any camera delivers exceptional results. If my photos fall short, it’s on me, not the gear. But the RF has already sparked a new excitement, making me eager to shoot more than ever. And that’s what truly matters!
